I started collecting old chainsaws more or less by coincidence. Years ago my father found an account of his first chainsaw from 1966 during the cleaning of our old accounting archives. That day we gathered in the idea, that it would be interesting to increase our existing collection of chain saws. The first year we got 5 models of vintage chain saws and afterwards every year several more; older and younger models. It is very important that every saw is still able to do its primary purpose – sawing.
Our collection has now over 100 motor and hand saws, among which are the most represented brands: JOBU, STIHL, HUSQVARNA, HOMELITE, SOLO, DOLMAR, JONSERED, PARTNER and some others. The oldest one in the collection comes from year 1959. The chain saw has the original kit service book, spare parts and instructions for use.
